- Did or didn't you follow my advice to install 'term' without
- bothering it with your old files?
-
- It seems you mixed some of your old stuff with the
- recent version. I do that all the time (betatesting), but
- never had your problem. So I guess you should:
-
- 1 rename your old term directory
-
- 2 install term 4.6 (using all the right files)
-
- 3 run term with all the right files, then try to crash your
- machine by exiting 4687 times in a row
-
- a did you succeed to smash it? Then mail Olaf a
- discription how you managed to do so
-
- b no chance to reproduce your sad experiences? Stop
- whining and
-
- 4 import your old settings and watch out for the moment,
- term starts to act funny. Report on this, if you feel,
- anybody might be in danger to fall into the same trap.
-
- As long you haven't done all this, your remarks on 'term'
- are obsolete.
