  25. Did or didn't you follow my advice to install 'term' without
  26. bothering it with your old files?

  28. It seems you mixed some of your old stuff with the
  29. recent version. I do that all the time (betatesting), but
  30. never had your problem. So I guess you should:

  32. 1 rename your old term directory
  33.  
  34. 2 install term 4.6 (using all the right files)
  35.  
  36. 3 run term with all the right files, then try to crash your
  37.   machine by exiting 4687 times in a row
  38.  
  39.   a did you succeed to smash it? Then mail Olaf a
  40.     discription how you managed to do so
  41.  
  42.   b no chance to reproduce your sad experiences? Stop
  43.     whining and
  44.  
  45. 4 import your old settings and watch out for the moment,
  46.   term starts to act funny. Report on this, if you feel,
  47.   anybody might be in danger to fall into the same trap.

  49. As long you haven't done all this, your remarks on 'term'
  50. are obsolete.
